Gloria Gaynor, 'I Will Survive': Letra y traducción de la canción que se ha convertido en un himno a la superación

Gloria Gaynor es sinónimo de música disco. La cantante estadounidense es una de las grandes estrellas de la música y cuenta en su haber con algunos de los mayores clásicos que ha dado este género musical en la historia. Y es que, no existe nadie en este planeta que no haya cantado o bailado su famosísimo 'I Will Survive', todo un himno al empoderamiento, a la resistencia y a la superación.

Gaynor alcanzó fama mundial a finales de los 70 con este tema, que ya ha cumplido 45 años y que lejos de quedar en el olvido sigue cantándose a pleno pulmón de generación en generación.

La canción vio la luz en 1978 y en 1980 recibió un premio Grammy en la categoría de 'Mejor Interpretación de Disco', consolidando su lugar en la historia de la música. Y en la de la propia cantante, que en una entrevista reciente con The Independent ha declarado que «esa canción es mi historia».
